Mission & Guiding Principles of Best100Ideas
Best100Ideas aims to be an ever growing source of creative ideas and tools in a wide range of subjects and for all kinds of purposes. It serves regular returning visitors as well as one-time passers-by who are in search for ways to "do things differently". At times it may serve as a place to find practical ideas for specific needs, while on other occasions it may be a starting point for knowledge and stimulation for enhancing people's own creative abilities.
Three basic principles guide what we do on Best100Ideas:
- Creativity: The major theme for Best100Ideas website is creativity, creative ideas and creative tools. All the material found on the website relates to creativity and innovation and is meant for enhancing the practice and use of creativity. We also try to do things in a creative way, unlike anything that has been done before. That is why all the ideas, articles and e-books you will find here are 100% original, and written especially for this purpose. They are also developed using proven innovation and creativity tools.
- Professionalism: There are many resources concerning creativity, creative ideas, and innovation. Best100Ideas promises to provide all the creative ideas and tools in a professional and complete manner. The most advanced techniques and tools are used for developing and delivering the creative ideas for the users of Best100Ideas. We do not compromise!
- Practicality: while Creativity & Professionalism set the content of this effort and its methodological basis, Practicality directs these two principles towards actionable goals and applications. We are less interested in theoretical or academic discussions on the nature of creativity and innovation, and would rather focus on the practical implication of creativity. The creative tools and ideas used and demonstrated on Best100Ideas are, therefore, both easy to learn and to apply and provide opportunities for powerful daily applications.
